Prize of War Review

I must say, Mr. McMinn has rekindled my interest in the Revolutionary War era. His detailed descriptions of sea going life in general, and his attention to sailing detail is remarkable. All sailors will love Mr. McMinn's depiction of 18th century Naval action. Spies and double agents abound in this thriller also, and our intelligence community friends, past and present, should also enjoy the book.
I am indeed looking forward to a second book staring Captain Morgan.

Compelling story and characters

Mr. McMinn has clearly researched the period and naval terminology exhaustively, but hasn't let that research get in the way of a good story populated with interesting characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and hope he continues with more stories of Capt. Morgan's adventures.

Excellent and Entertaining Read

Mr. McMinn combined Revolutionary War history, and sailing technology, into an exciting tale of 18th century naval warfare and military intrigue. I certainly hope to see more from the main character Captain Morgan!
